Josh Gibson (Dec 21, 1911 - Jan 20, 1947) was one of the greatest baseball players ever. His legend began while playing catcher for the Homestaed Grays of the Negro League. He recently became Major League Baseball's career leader in several categories after Negro League records for over 2,300 players were incorperated.
