Josh Gibson (Dec 21, 1911 - Jan 20, 1947) was one of the greatest baseball players ever. His legend began while playing catcher for the Homestaed Grays of the Negro League. He recently became Major League Baseball's career leader in several categories after Negro League records for over 2,300 players were incorperated. This piece pays tribute to Gibson with a backdrop of several other iconic  baseball players. At the lower left corner is a list of his MLB records. Mixed media on canvas, finished with resin.
